In my quest to offer selfless, people oriented, effective and all inclusive representation to the people of Bayelsa Central Senatorial District at the Nigerian Senate through the ballot in 2019, i played host to the Niger Delta University Alumni Association yesterday being Sunday, 9th of September at the Covenant Mandate House to inform them of my unwavering resolve to offer credible representation to the people of Bayelsa Central Senatorial District.
I deemed it fit to commence my very first public declaration with the NigerDelta University Alumni Association which i consider as my primary constituency due to the importance i attach to this Association as an Alumnus.
Let me also use this medium to express my profound gratitude to the the ever stable and vibrant President of the Alumni, Barr. Opowei Zitimiyola Daniel, members of his Executive Council, the entire members of the Association, Political & opinion leaders from the Bayelsa Central Senatorial District and the general public for defying the heavy down pour to honour my invitation.
The turn up for yesterday's meeting only goes to show that as a people, if we are united in purpose, we shall achieve the unimaginable.
Going forward, i shall continue to interface with all sectors of our society; particularly the non-indigenes, the women groups, my fellow youths, the elderly, Opinion and political leaders, the students community and every other group to ensure that all hands are placed on deck to change the narrative for the common good of our people. It is now or never!
